When you violate a court ordered parenting plan, what are the possible conseqences?

the so-called mother of my daughter now has, within less than a year, two incident reports and one contempt charge pending.my question is this:do i have to go through my 300/hr lawyer to pursue these charges or can i contact the court clerk or someone in family court before i use my lawyer? that is why im wondering what the penalties could be before he gets involved.i would think that the guardian ad lidem and my attorney would be contacted by the prosecuting attorney regardless but im not sure how it all works. When you violate a court ordered parenting plan, what are the possible conseqences?
I doubt that the prosecutor's office is going to get involved with violations of parenting time orders. The judge could fine her or put her in jail if she repeatedly violates the orders. Jail would probably require repeated and flagrant violations.

You don't HAVE to use a lawyer--plenty of people represent themselves in these matters. You would be filing a ';motion to enforce litigant's rights'; (or something similar). You bring the alleged violation to the court's attention, you testify, she testifies. The court will decide. When you violate a court ordered parenting plan, what are the possible conseqences?
Unless you are going to ask for a modification of custody, based on her unwilingness to adhere to previous court orders, then you are just going to have to put up with her bull.

She won't go to jail for failure to adhere to court orders, but you will go to jail if you try the ol :I ain't paying child support til I get to see my kids';..

The system is made by women, for women, and it is run by women...

UNless she is some sort of drug addict or has multiple DUI's or other felonies, you don't have a prayer.. Judges don't even want to be bothered..

Of course your cheap lawyer ( 300 is cheap) wil tell you tht he can make her obey the orders blah blah blah.. if she wants to be aBitch the court will do nothing...
