its simply if your sick of hearing about it THEN DON'T LOOK ON THIS CATEGORY
Some people are first time parents and they have doubts, questions and concerns and want to talk to someone who went through this already. When you become a parent, kids are ALL you care about.
If you're soooo tired about hearing about kids,, parenting and pregnancy ..... go on to another topic................ moron !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just that simple !!!!!!!!!

Think you'll be singing a different tune when it comes time to talk about your own kids. Sure we all get sick of hearing about other peoples kids and looking at endless streams of pictures, but that's what parents do. 'Quick Honey! Grab the camera! Junior's made an orange and green doodie!'

Then find another site to explore. I'm a SAHM and this is my life. It's either this or current events for me because I do not watch American Idol or Survivor.

Here's a thought: there are about 2 dozen other sections on the Yahoo Answers site. If you're tired of this topic PICK another! No one is forcing you to read this section.
Then get the hell out of pregnancy and parenting.
I'm truly sorry you feel that way. I'll never ';get over'; my kids, and I hope your parents never got over you.





There is a lot to life, and I've learned that having children makes me that much more eager to experience it and share it with them.

Sometimes people take it to extremes and only talk about that. Sadly, people have kids and often don't have time for other things. It ends up that kids are the only thing they have to talk about.
Not me. I think it is interesting to read, especially when you actually have a child or children yourself. And I think its great that you can help other mom's or parents out with ideas and suggestions. Keep asking away!!!

I agree that there is more to life, but consider the forum before you complain.
If you don't like it, why are you in the pregnancy and parenting section? I'm sorry you're barren. That must really suck knowing you're not a ';real'; woman because you can't conceive. At any rate, that's no reason to take out your anger on the rest of us.
How sad you think that way. Children are truly a blessing.

Well, that is your opinion, and what else do expect to hear on when you come to Pregnancy, and Parenting? There isn't anything more in life than being a parent seems it changes your life!! So, my suggestion would be for you to get a life, and go look at the section about Cats or Dogs.
Let me guess, you dont have any children. Until you witness your baby moving inside you, or the first time they say ';Mommy'; or ';Daddy';, or their first birthday when you let them eat their own cake, or just watching them sleep, you will not understand that that our children are the future. Just think these children will be the kids that take care of you when you are older and cant take care of yourself.
It's quite likely to be discussed on a ';Pregnancy and Parenting '; site though, isn't it?





It would be a bit odd if we only talked about soap operas, or how to repair cars.
When you are a parent, you will realize that that is what life is all about. Go to another category if you don't like hearing about it.
Not merely as tired as I am of people asking questions about Paris Hilton,Jen Aniston and Brad and Angelina...stupid questions like that over and over again!!!And once you've reached a certain age sweetheart,pregnancy,parenting and kids is the best thing you can talk about, and there isnt much more to life other than that.... cause THATS as good as it gets....and its great!You should get over it already!

Life is all about family, and the joys of innocent children and their laughter. The miracle that is inside a pregnant woman is a gift from God! And yes, God loves even you!!! (with your closed mind, and your one-sided views.)
