When should i start parenting classes?

I'm 7 weeks a long and I was wondering when I should start going to my parenting/labor classes?When should i start parenting classes?
The classes we took at our local birthing center actually suggested to us to come in during the second trimester.





They wanted us to get in the classes during second trimester in case the baby came early and so we could spend the third trimester preparing our home and lives for the new addition.When should i start parenting classes?
It depends on how long the classes are...if they will last over the course of a month or so (like once a week for a month) you want to make sure to time it so you are not ready to deliver before the class is over. Most classes recommend that you be at least 28 weeks that way you are further along in the pregnancy and actually have a good stomach on you by then. If your in doubt call the hospital or center that offers the course and ask them about when you should sign up. However, I would call now because in my town there was only one place that offered classes and they had a limit of only 8 couples per a class so they booked up quick.
