How do you alter parenting time from one state to the next if your not the primary parent?

I had my fiancee move from Arizona to Ohio with me. He has 3 kids in Arizona. We were under the understanding he would get to see his kids christmas break, spring break and the summer. now that were here the ex wife won't even allow him to talk to the kids unless it's a weekend and I can't talk to the kids at all! Even though I've been in there life for the last 3+ years. Since everything was done in AZ do we have to fly back there to determine whether we can see them? How do you alter parenting time from one state to the next if your not the primary parent?
My husband also has a child residing in a different state. We live in Colorado and his child lives in Texas. The state in which the child resides is the state that has jurisdiction over your child support/custody case. So as long as the child resides in AZ you will probably have to adhere to the family laws of AZ.

As far as going back to AZ for a hearing that will be up to the judge/child support office in charge of your case. I do know that everytime my husband's ex requests a modification hearing for child support he has to go back to Texas to be present for that hearing or they will proceed without him and he will have no say or weight in a decision that is made in regards to modifiying to child support order, which by the way she does on purpose just to make things difficult for no apparent reason, other than she gets a kick out of making things hard on other people and has never received an increase since she has started pulling these stunts. And they are like clock work. Every two years she will request a hearing knowing that nothing has changed in income or anything else.

Please remember just as I do that no matter what, those kids cannot control what their mom is doing or not doing. They will never have any control of that age old game. And that is exactly what it is, A GAME!!!

Good luck to you and your husband.
