i live in new zealand 9south of australia), a country of 4 million people and a former british colony.
we have a balance of stay-at-home moms and working moms, where the children go to daycare.
we have a no smacking law, introduced a year or two ago. that has changed parent attitudes with parents now looking for, and learning, alternative strategies to physical punishment. we have good parenting resources and advice readily available
in general, i would see us as fairly relaxed about parenting, we enjoy and value our children!!~!What are parenting roles like in other countries?
well in russia, women are stay home momz!!! and if they have enough kidz (i forget the amount) the ruler person gives them an award!!
