What is the worst parenting skills you have ever witnessed?

I saw a mother (teenager?) having a good old puff of smoke. Her little girl was right next to her, breathing in the deadly second hand fumes. What made it worse was that the woman was PREGNANT! I know I shouldn't judge, but that kind of behaviour is completely selfish!

Smoking in front of your child is one thing, but smoking whilst pregnant is disgusting. Next time, she should just invest in contraceptives - they're not THAT expensive! What is the worst parenting skills you have ever witnessed?
My hates

*pregnant/ pushing pram and smoking and smoking around kids

*people that have children and think its ok to put pictures of themselves half dressed all over internet

*people that have kids dont bother working so living off goverment and yet manage to go out every weekend and get drunk

*people feeding there infants mc donalds (i saw a woman give a baby must of been 6-7 months chips

*people letting there kids run around shop and not bother watching them

*groups of teenage mums hanging outside shopping centers in the cold with there babies in prams

*parents being all wrapped up in coats and there babys having blanket and no socksWhat is the worst parenting skills you have ever witnessed?
Smacking a kid. I've never witnessed spanking as far as I can remember, but that's cruel too.

People smoking whilst pregnant... people smoking whilst pushing a pram. Disgusting

I know these aren't awful things but they are my pet peeves:

- baby drops pacifier on ground, mother picks it up, sucks it herself and hands it back to child. Gross.

- kids of four or five with pacifiers. Take it away from them already.

- People giving their babies (and toddlers and children!) juice and even cola from a bottle. It amazes me they dont care about their teeth.

- parents - and I'm thinking in particular of the Jeremy Kyle-esque parent - who are wearing obviously expensive clothes, and trainers but who have children in clothes that are too small, or inadequate for the weather etc. Where the hell are their priorities?!?!?!
It used to be quite common to smoke around kids. Even smoking while pregnant. Jackie Kennedy did, for one, and she was very refined.

Looking back at history, you'll see how quickly and extremely attitudes change.

I don't have one stand out case stick out in my mind, but the increasing amount of apathy I see parents pass onto their kids is very disturbing. I teach and can't get through to many students because ';My Mama don't care...';
I was walking into a store the other day with my son...and this woman was sauntering from the parking lot with her daughter at her side....with a little boy that couldn't have been older than 5 in tow.

The woman is yapping with the little girl walking through the parking lot and never once looked back to see if the boy made it through traffic, or into the store.

Never once did she even glance in his direction and he didn't catch up to her until she was about 100 feet into the store where she finally acknowledged his presence.

I thought that was disgusting...not only could he have been hit by a car in a busy parking lot...but he could have been abducted and she would have never known it.

People are stupid.
people not disipling their kids and letting them run rampid with no consequences. at wal mart this mom had 3 kids mooching the system like always with people like she was, and her kids were just opening toys, throwing stuff at people, squashing candles on the floors, opening food, i had to say something because it was so annoying. everyone was starring at her and she didnt even care or say anything to her hethan kids. then you get other kids like this one that just walks up to people playing with their food and the mom and dad just let her do it. i dont really want little kids playing with my stuff so once again because lack of parenting we had to say something.
My neighbors let their child (2-ish) play on a second story balcony with railings big enough for me to fit through, patio furniture for her to climb on, with two dogs, and no adult in sight. Of course, I reported it to the office, since letting that go would make me just as guilty if anything happened to the little one.
I saw my aunt beating her son in front of many people until the child got bruises.

I want to share some website for good parenting advice and tips.

http://www.parentingsuccesstips.com/ Maybe it can help.
The worst i have ever seen was in a parking lot after a hockey game, Our team lost and a parent (mom) was upset so she started beating the sh*t out of her son that only looked 5 or 6 years old.
Some teenage mothers with their small babies out hanging about with friends at one in the morning.... They should be home looking after their baby, not hanging about with friends.
The British mccann doctors druuged their own children so they could go out on the drink all night without being disturbed.

Filthy wicked slime.
